College

The goal of our college ministry at Christ Fellowship Northgate is to connect college students to the local church to be equipped and mobilized as lifetime disciple-makers for God’s glory. We believe that college students are an important part of our church family, and we encourage students to engage in the life of our church through small groups, equip classes, serving, and more.

COLLEGE SMALL GROUP

Our college small group meets each week on Sundays after the 11am service, from 12:30-2pm in the fellowship hall. We have lunch provided and spend time singing, discussing, and praying together.

MISSION TRIP

Each school year, we take a mission trip together during spring break to work with one of our one mission partners. We alternate every other year an international trip and stateside trip.

MONTHLY ACTIVITIES

We have one activity a month for connection and deepening relationships.

Opportunities

INTERNSHIPS & RESIDENCIES

Summer EQUIP Internship: Every summer, we hire several college students to work alongside the staff at CFN. Interns work with a mentor to learn and practice ministry while meeting with the other summer interns for Bible study and fellowship. Interns are provided housing and a stipend for the summer, and have the flexibility to work an additional part-time job if they choose.

MINISTRY ASSISTANT RESIDENCY

Each school year, we offer part-time, paid residencies for students that run from September to April. Ministry assistants help with many practical and logistical matters on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. They work alongside a staff member and are given specific ministry assignments. Available areas of ministry for residency are music, administration, kids, Spanish, missions, students, social media, and more. This is a great opportunity for students to be more invested in serving the local church as well as prepare those who want to go into full-time ministry after college.
