Matt Rogers

Matt and Sarah Rogers have called Greenville home for most of the last two decades after graduating from Furman University and North Greenville University respectively. They have five children—Corrie, Avery, Hudson, Willa, and Fuller. Matt aids CFC’s various mission and church planting endeavors, equips the next generation of pastors and missionaries, and preaches consistently. Sarah is passionate about the work of women’s discipleship, assists in corporate worship through song, and makes the Rogers’ home an epicenter of care and mission.
Hugh Carson

Hugh and Hollie Carson have lived in Greenville since 2010. They are both graduates of the University of North Georgia. They have three children – Laney, Mattie, and Bennett. Hugh serves in overseeing core classes, small group leaders, membership, and counseling. Hugh served as a Journeyman Missionary with the International Mission Board and holds a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Hollie partners with Hugh in ministry; she loves investing in young ladies, and she devotes time in home-schooling and caring for their children.
Brandon Simpson

Brandon and Karla have been a part of CFC for the past 15 years. They have three children–Charlotte, Boone, and Brody. Brandon serves the church as a pastor giving care to the executive functions of the church, teaching, counseling, and occasionally preaching. Karla partners with Brandon in ministry and serves in CFC Kids.
Walker Capps

Walker primarily leads CFC through the means of music. He is passionate about pastoring the body on and off the stage through various means of worship. Walker is married to Julie, and after graduating from North Greenville University, they spent six years in full-time camp ministry in the mountains of North Carolina. After studying at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, their family was overjoyed to move back to Greenville. They have four children – Gradie, Ellie, June and Walt. Julie loves serving the church, cultivating hospitality, and investing in relationships. The Capps love good music, good coffee, good books, and good hikes with their family.
Matt Reid

Matt and Annie Reid moved back to the Greenville area in 2021 after serving at a church plant in Salt Lake City. They both graduated from Bob Jones University, Matt with a degree in Youth Ministry, and Annie a nursing degree. They have 3 children – Campbell, Charlotte, and Silas. Matt works in real estate media, and Annie is a nurse practitioner. In the past, Matt has worked in camp ministry, children’s ministry, and youth ministry, and currently serves leading a small group, on the worship team, and teaching. Annie serves alongside Matt leading small group, on the worship team, and in CFC kids.
Warren Peden

Warren and Allison Peden have lived in Greenville for most of their lives. They met in high school at Wade Hampton High School and both attended Winthrop University. They have two sons – Hudson and Nolan, who both love the Lord and are married to godly wives. Warren and Allison have been at CFC since 2019. Warren is a professor at the Evangelical Institute and is involved in teaching core classes on Sunday mornings at the church.
Donny Mathis

Donny began serving CFC as a pastor in 2014 and helps to coordinate the Core classes and Family Meetings at CFC. Donny and Amber have two children: Trace and Hallie. Donny is a Professor of Christian Studies at North Greenville University where he teaches New Testament, Hermeneutics, and Biblical Greek. He holds a Master of Divinity in Higher Education and PhD in New Testament Language, Literature, and Theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Donny enjoys cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats, spending time with his family, and playing golf.
Jonathan Borisuk

Jonathan and Rachel Borisuk have lived in Greenville and attended CFC since 2020. Jonathan attended Bob Jones University and the Evangelical Institute of Greenville. He married Rachel during his time at EI, and they moved to New York after he graduated. They have 10 children and 4 grandchildren. Jonathan has worked in the medical field for over 30 years and currently works as a Hospice nurse on the weekends. His primary area of service to the church is member care.

Amber Mathis

Amber serves as Children’s Minister using her skills writing classroom curriculum, organizing and training volunteer teams, and coordinating ways to disciple children, their families, and the church body with the goal to continuously teach the next generation who God is and what he has done for his people. She has worked with children for over 20 years, 15 of those at Christ Fellowship. She graduated from the University of Mobile with a BA in Religion, attended The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and finished her Master’s in Christian Ministry at North Greenville University. She enjoys eating good food, painting interesting things, writing encouraging words, exploring fascinating places, and giggling with her silly family.

Erin graduated from North Greenville University with a degree in Intercultural Studies. She and her husband Connor have been members at CFC since 2011. Before joining the church staff as Ministry Coordinator, she worked as an Event Coordinator for a local non-profit. In her free time, Erin enjoys spending time with friends over coffee, reading, and traveling with her husband.

Jill and her husband Ali Can have been members at CFC since 2020. Jill graduated from Furman University with a degree in Elementary Education. She spent six years as a missionary in Turkey and also worked as a teacher in Greenville County before becoming the church’s Childcare Coordinator. In her free time, she enjoys reading with a good cup of coffee, taking photos, and homeschooling her kids.
Miles Moon

Miles moved to Greenville in 2017 after graduating from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He serves CFC as the Youth & College Minister and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity in Biblical & Theological Studies from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He enjoys reading, backpacking, fishing, and college football.

Noah and Carly have been married since 2024, and they have been living in Greenville since they both graduated from North Greenville University in 2024. Noah has been attending Cherrydale since 2019. Noah primarily serves alongside the CFC Student Ministry, but also serves with other various ministries in the church. Noah enjoys cheering on the Buffalo Bills, a good cup of coffee, and playing spikeball!
